White sand, Pier 60 at sunset, and one main road on and off the island. Timing is most of the job out here.
Worth knowing.
- Leave room for the causeway
- Most traffic crosses the Clearwater Memorial Causeway, and in season it can back up badly. For a flight, we'd rather be early.
- PIE or TPA
- PIE is closer, at about 25 to 30 minutes. TPA is about 40 over the Courtney Campbell in light traffic.
- Sunset moves everything
- Everyone heads for Pier 60 at the same time. If dinner matters, book the car a little ahead of it.
