PIE · St. Pete–Clearwater InternationalThe close one.On the bay side of mid-Pinellas, PIE is the closest airport to most of the peninsula, and it's small enough to be easy.
TPA · Tampa InternationalOver the bay.The region's big airport sits on the far side of Old Tampa Bay. The bridges decide how long the drive takes, so the time of day matters more than the miles.
SRQ · Sarasota Bradenton InternationalSouth of the Skyway.Often the easier airport for the southern end of the peninsula, and the drive takes you over the Sunshine Skyway, which is no hardship.
